A sereis of visuals developed for WePresent for their collaboration of KIA’s Innovation Lab, where they’ve invited creatives of all sorts to innovate, move ideas forward and push boundaries. It is a three-part series in which WePresent dive into the minds of some of the creative industry’s brightest and most fascinating minds, featuring these incredible ladies: Nelly Ben Hayoun, Merritt Moore and Lucy McRae. 

Through a series of interviews, anecdotes and illustrations they will create a snapshot of their creative process with the aim of inspiring fellow creatives and KIA customers to pursue their own creative ideas.

As Steve Jobs said, “You can't connect the dots looking forward, you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.” When I was reading their interviews, I had a feeling that I was connecting dots of those important moments, achivements, works in their lives. The design concept is to turn the artists’ creative lifetime into 3D installations, while each component can be seen as a clue to the corresponding creativity rules that they mentioned in the interviews. In that way, each image also captures the artistic temperament of them.

Dubbed the 'Willy Wonka of Design', Nelly is an award-winning designer of experiences, filmmaker, artist, public speaker and researcher. Her multi-dimensional projects span the intersection of science, theatre, politics, film, education, music and design.

Merritt is an American professional ballerina and quantum physicist. She studied physics at both Oxford and Harvard University and now works at the intersection of robotics and ballet.

Lucy is a science fiction artist, filmmaker, inventor and body architect. Her work speculates on the future of human existence by exploring the limits of the body, beauty, biotechnology and the self.
